Well, Cheney has had a hard-on for Iraq, with his fantasy Saddam- Al Qaeda connection, and his WMD fascination for not four hours, but for more than four years.

It's no wonder he's having blood flow problems in his leg.

The thing is, if you don't treat the priapism relatively quickly, within about six hours, it can cause damage to the erectile tissue in the penis and irreversible If six hours do permanent damage, I wonder what effects four plus years have.

Maybe it causes pain.

That might explain why Cheney's such a grouchy guy, maybe even why he shot his friend.

Of course, if priapism lasting six hours can cause permanent damage, I'm not even going to think about Cheney's sex life.

Here's a suggestion; have Cheney's doctors glance a bit further up from the leg.

Maybe they'll heal his priapism and get us out of Iraq already.
