"They're all lies." A spokeswoman for the Manhattan district attorney's office confirmed that investigators are looking into a criminal complaint filed against Monahan.

The firm said she was fired for allegedly committing credit card fraud, check forgery and identity theft.

"[Iseman] is the victim of this woman," Berger said.

Monahan, 35, joined Caxton-Iseman in August 2005 as Iseman's executive assistant.

She now alleges that she was subjected to a crass work environment in which she was directed to buy bottles of sexual lubricant and a book titled "The Mammoth Book of Women's Erotic Fantasies" for her boss.

She allegedly was ordered to rent a studio apartment for his sex flings, as part of "Operation F-pad." "None of this ever happened," Berger said.

Davida Perry, an attorney for Monahan, did not return phone calls.
